I understand that Road Captains are volunteer leaders responsible for promoting safety, following event leadership instructions, and obeying all traffic laws. I understand that submission of this application does not guarantee selection and that assignments are made at the discretion of event leadership. I acknowledge that I am also required to complete the general rider registration and agree to the event waiver, release of liability, and safety rules. I agree to lead by example, ride responsibly, attend the pre-ride briefing, and support a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. I understand that Road Captain duties and assignments may be modified or revoked at any time by event leadership if necessary for the safety and success of the event.
